The Dover City Council has given the go ahead for renovations at the McConnell Center. City manager Mike Joyal pointed out that part of the Center was renovated after it was used as a middle school, and the lack of renovations to some rooms has made it difficult to lease. The City Council voted 8-1 to allocate around $200,000 from the Gravel fund to complete renovations on raw and currently unusable space. Those rooms will require lights carpet and paint to make them marketable.
