A fire at a vacant, former fraternity building in Durham has been ruled an arson.
New Hampshire State Fire Marshal J. William Degnan, Durham Police Chief David Kurz, and Durham Fire Chief Corey Landry announced the results of the investigation of the July 11 fire. The investigative team determined that the fire originated within the interior of the building, and ruled the cause of the incident Incendiary.
