Candidates looking to fill the vacant seat representing ward 4 on the Rochester City Council were interview at the City Council meeting on Tuesday night. Jerry DeLemus, Albert Small, David Hynes, and Donald Hamann each made their case before the council during a public session as why they would be the perfect fit to fill the seat previously held by Ray Lundborn. Candidates were questioned on a variety of issues including their views on finance proposals such as the Tax Increment Finance, fiscal responsibility, school district financing among others. The council will now confer and will make the appointment next month.
