A freight train traveling through Rochester this afternoon collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Summer Street and Columbus Avenue. 62 year old Nancy Herzog of Rochester stopped her vehicle beyond the yellow painted stop line at the railroad crossing, and a southbound North Coast Railroad train struck her car as it made its way through the intersection. Herzog was not injured; however, her car suffered extensive damage. The train did not have any damage and after about an hour, the intersection was open again to traffic.
