NEW YORK -- The Yankees' series finale against the Rays on Sunday has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The club did not announce a make-up date, but manager Joe Girardi said it would come during the teams' next meeting in New York, when the Yankees host Tampa Bay for three games from Sept. 20-22.
Fans holding paid tickets for Sunday's postponed game may use them for the rescheduled game (unless it is rescheduled as part of a single-admission doubleheader) or exchange their paid tickets for any regular season game at Yankee Stadium through the end of the 2012 season.
Girardi also said Sunday he would keep the rotation order, with A.J. Burnett's start pushed back to Monday night in Kansas City.
"We'll just move everybody back," Girardi said.
Burnett was scheduled to start Sunday in place of Freddy Garcia, who was scratched on Saturday after Garcia suffered a cut on his pitching hand in a kitchen mishap over the weekend.
