Two people had to be taken to the hospital after a two car crash on Route 108 on Tuesday morning in Durham. 78-year-old Roland Patch, of Rochester was turning onto Route 108 from the Route 4 off ramp and failed to give the right of way to 23 year old Jessica Rabasco of Hampton, causing the collision. Durham fire officials had to use the Jaws of Life to extract Patch out of his vehicle. Rabasco, Patch, and Patch’s passenger, 78 year old Dover resident David Smith were all taken to Wentworth Douglas Hospital to be checked out. The accident remains under investigation.
