New Hampshire State Police are continuing to investigate the scene of a fatal car accident on I-95 in Greenland on Monday night. Fifty six year old Rose Vitello of Connecticut was headed the wrong-way in the northbound lane where she caused multiple crashes before her vehicle eventually came to a rest in the median. Vitello was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her 2010 Chevy Aveo collided with two other vehicles before she drove head-on into a vehicle driven by 22 year old Kathlyn Garvey of Massachusetts. Garvey and the other drivers were also brought to Portsmouth Regional Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries and released. Shortly after the third collision, two other vehicles hit debris in the roadway, but neither driver was injured. The State Police are asking anyone who may have further information on this accident to contact Trooper Brian Gacek at 603-223-8490.
