Milton Bus Driver Moves to Suppress Evidence

A former Milton bus driver charged with sexual assault on two disabled boys is now seeking to have evidence against him suppressed in federal court. The defense attorney for 46 year old John Allen Wright claims police did not have proper search warrants when they obtained evidence from his home. Wright was arrested on Sept. 1, 2011, and charged with three counts of felonious sexual assault against three children in New Hampshire and Maine and was also charged with approximately 20 other counts related to felonious acts, including indecent exposure and lewdness. Police obtained videos of those assaults along with other materials on his computer and believe he shared those videos online. In U.S. District Court in Concord, Wright's defense attorney Harry Starbranch moved for a suppression motion and has alleged that police did not have enough probable cause against his client to pursue their search.
