The US Marshals Fugitive Task force arrested an Arkansas man today in Somersworth who had been on the run from the Drug Enforcement Agency for months. 37 year- old Romondo Jenkins was indicted back in February on federal charges of Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine. After authorities in Little Rock, Arkansas provided information that he was staying in the Dover area, members of the Marshals and Strafford Country Sherriff’s office acted on the information and after a brief surveillance, stopped the car that Jenkins was a passenger in behind a restaurant on High Street in Somersworth. Police arrested both Jenkins and the driver of the car, Keyonute Norful of Dover. Norful was arrested for a violation of his parole for possession of a controlled substance and for associating with a known felon. Jenkins was transported to U.S. District Court in Concord for his hearing on his outstanding warrant, while Norful was held at Strafford County jail for his parole violation.
