The Portsmouth City Council will discuss the upcoming Obama visit to the Port City at their Tuesday tonight. The President and First Lady will be accompanied by Vice President Biden and his wife at a campaign stop at Strawberry Banke this Friday morning, which will be the first campaign stop after this week’s Democratic National Convention. Obama’s return to the Granite State comes only three weeks after he visited Rochester. Residents packed the Rochester City Council chambers expressing their outrage over the city absorbing over $9,000 the city paid for fire, police, and emergency services for the President’s visit.
