Dover Firefighters Get Out the Boot

Dover Firefighters were out in the community this past weekend with boots in hand, looking for donations during their 17th annual Boot Drive. Around $7,300 was collected from motorists in an effort to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of New Hampshire. Firefighters were found at the corner of Oak Street and Central Avenue collecting the most money collected since 2002 when estimated $8,500 in donations were recorded.
Firefighters say the monies donated will remain in the state and go toward summer camps and programs for those affected by muscular dystrophy.
