Berwick Interim Town Manager Jim McMahon will be resigning from his position effective September the 17, is the result of a recent Freedom of Access Act request. McMahon believes the request will force him to spend dozens of hours responding to the new request, about things that he says he has no knowledge of and does not wish to be involved in. McMahon, agreed to return and serve as interim town manager back in June after previously serving six years as Berwick's town manager. The Board of Selectmen are currently in the process of searching for a new town manager, will hold interviews with candidates in executive session this week on Monday and Thursday night.
