Kittery Police were called out to The Kittery Trading Post on Monday on a report of shoplifting and while in route were informed that a scuffle had broken out between the accused shoplifter and store staff. Upon arrival, Police apprehended 29 year old Somersworth resident Christina Moore and their investigation showed that Moore had taken over $300 dollars’ worth of merchandise and was blocked by staff as she attempted to flee the store. Moore reacted by punching the employee in the head, leaving that employee with a minor injury to their hand. Moore was charged with burglary and also as a fugitive from justice, resulting from an outstanding warrant for narcotics charges. She is currently being held on $10,000 cash bail and is set to be arraigned in Alfred Superior Court on October 29^th.
