When Chairwoman Mary Andrews stormed out of the York Board of Selectman’s meeting on Monday evening, she left her letter of resignation behind after earlier stating that she was about ready to turn it in. But according to Town Manager Rob Yandow, Andrews decided on Wednesday to retract that letter. Andrews left that meeting, after talks got heated on the board about the recent issues surrounding the construction of the new police station. Andrews said she was willing to take the blame for the issues over the station, but after Selectman Kinley Gregg made a motion to disband the current Municipal Building Committee and form a new building committee, Andrews announced to those in attendance that she had had enough, leaving the meeting and leaving her letter of resignation behind on the table.
