Barrington rescue personnel had to be called out to Stone House Pond on Thursday evening, after a man who was sport climbing fell from a ledge. It took rescue crews about an hour to get the man out of the area. He was first put on a stretcher and loaded into a boat, carrying him across the pond before he was eventually taken by life flight to an area hospital. It’s not the first time someone has fallen while climbing those rocks. Just earlier this summer, two hikers were injured when they fell 30 to 50 feet from a ledge.
