On Thursday, members of the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested David Wilson in Gardiner, Maine on two warrants for armed robbery, and six warrants of Robbery and receiving stolen property. It was originally believed the Wilson was in custody in NH although that showed not to be the case. Wilson is charged with Armed Robbery stemming from an incident on January 29th, 2012 at Tedeschi’s Food Mart on Islington Street in Portsmouth. when it’s said that he entered the store armed with what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money from the cashier before fleeing the store with an undetermined amount of cash. On February 1st, 2012 at approximately 8:20 PM there was a second Armed Robbery in the Worth Parking Lot in downtown Portsmouth. A female victim was approached by a male suspect who assaulted her and forcefully removed her purse before fleeing. Wilson is charged as a Fugitive from Justice and currently being held at the Kennebec County Jail. Extradition proceedings will presume so that Wilson may be returned to the State of NH for to answer to those charges.
