A fire that did heavy damage to the fourth floor of a building in Rochester on Friday night has now been listed as suspicious. Rochester Fire Marshal Dominick Bellio said the building manager tried to extinguish the fire that broke out in a fourth floor storage unit, but fled when they discovered it was too big for them to fight. Firefighters were able to contain the flames to that storage unit, although everyone was evacuated because of heavy smoke. People were allowed to go back into that building by 9:30 in the evening after an electrician checked the building out to make sure there weren’t bigger problems with the buildings electricity. The Rochester Fire Department was assisted crews from Somersworth, Durham, Barrington, Milton and Farmington.
