Somersworth Shooter Identified

The man that Somersworth Police picked up early Monday morning for firing a weapon at the Sherwood Glen Mobile Home Park has now been identified. Police say 27 year old Christopher Smart is the man they apprehended at the Irving store on Route 108, after a search of the area. Police have charged him with felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, in addition to violation breach of bail conditions, a misdemeanor. A judge at Dover Circuit Court maintained Smart's bail at $50,000 cash during his arraignment on Tuesday. Police contend that Smart had fired a handgun at a 26-year-old man inside the residence, before fleeing on foot. No one was injured.
