NH Homes Improperly Foreclosed on May Be Eligible for Help

New Hampshire’s Attorney General announced a new program that could help 7,600 residents that have lost their homes to due to an improper foreclosure between January 2008 and December 2011. The National Mortgage Settlement will be notifying residents by mail about important information on filing a claim for this procedure. Every eligible resident of New Hampshire is encouraged to apply. The banks that have been associated with this process include; Bank of America, Citi Bank, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan Chase, and Ally/GMAC. The deadline for filing a claim is January 18, 2013.
