Dover City Council Discusses City Manager’s Job Evaluation
During a non-public session of the Dover City Council, the results of City Manager Mike Joyal’s recent job evaluation were discussed but the results have yet to be made public. Members of the council did discuss their written evaluations on Joyal’s performance on budgetary issues, responding to citizens’ concerns, and looking for cost cutting in government agencies. Joyal’s contract and his pay scale were also reported have been discussed. Last year Joyal received a score of 3.7 out of a possible 5 points. His salary was increased at that time by $5,200.
