he Berwick Branch of the Kennebunk Savings Bank was the sight of a robbery on Friday afternoon. Just before noon a person disguised as a woman wearing a red hoodie and pink sweat pants entered and demanded money from a teller. The robber claimed to have an explosive device before taking money and fleeing on foot. Berwick Police along with Somersworth police scoured the area with K-9 units. A man who was seen running from those officers was arrested but it is still unknown if they had any connection to the robbery. Berwick police ask anyone with information on that crime to call 207-698-1136.
