Hampton Police continue to search for a man wanted in connection to the theft of guns from a Hampton home. Police say 24 year old James Merrill was expected to turn himself into police custody after a warrant for his arrest was posted on September 19^th, but Merrill failed to do so. Police ask that anyone who encounters Merrill to call police and not to confront the man as they believe that he is armed and possibly dangerous. Merrill is described as a white male, 6 feet 1 inch tall, with brown hair and eyes and a muscular build, who drives a gray 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
