Wednesday night at the Dover City Council meeting, councilors voted to move all ordinances in the administrative code to a third reading. At issue, are a dozen ordinances which include chapter three and the deletion of chapter five of the City Code and return it to the original format. Councilors have been invited to meet with City Manager Mike Joyal to discuss a list of changes that should be made to move forward with the administrative code changes and the updates. Also at Wednesdays meeting, Councilor Michael Weeden filed a Legislative Service Request in an attempt to give councilors more control over the administrative code, while the Council also voted to move ahead to study the Griffin and Ireland well, to find out where contamination in the well is coming from.
