No one was injured on Saturday morning when a school bus carrying 32 football players crashed into a car on Route 236. The driver of the bus, Benjamin Brem of Portland, was apparently not familiar with the area and had moved to the right of the roadway, in order to begin a u-turn. The driver of a car behind that bus, 46 year old Laurie Marino of Kittery, thought the bus was moving over to let her pass, and as she tried to overtake the bus, Brem began his u-turn and hit Marinos vehicle. The bus was badly damaged and other transportation was arranged to take the Westbrook football team to their game.
