A presentation of the Capital Improvement Plan is expected at the next joint session of the Planning Board and the Dover City Council on Wednesday that will allow residents to weigh in on the plan. Chris Parker, Director of Planning and Community Development, will make the presentation that will lay out the next 6 years of capital projects and purchases that are greater than $25,000, and include road reconstructions, repairs to City Hall, updates to the police and fire stations, and work at the Whittier Street Bridge, among others. After the presentation on Wednesday, the Planning Board will begin to review that plan and then will forward their recommendations on to the full City Council.
