An attorney representing Exeter Hospital against the 25 lawsuits filed by former patients in Rockingham County over the Hep C outbreak filed a motion Friday asking a judge to issue a temporary stay of discovery in the cases. The move would stop the lawyers from forcing employees to give sworn statements about the outbreak and from questioning doctors and nurses who worked with David Kwiatkowski. They are asking for a 90 day freeze after a structuring conference is held with defendants, on any and all discovery actions.
