Dover Councilor Weeden Pushes Music Education

Dover City Councilor Michael Weedon believes that music should play a greater role in education at Dover High School and has put his money where his mouth is. Teaming up with local music store, Ralph’s House of Tone, Weeden is offering students the chance to win one of five acoustic guitar packages by writing an essay on their goals for the future and why they believe they deserve to win the guitar. Weeden says the essays can be turned in to the guidance office or sent to his email, m.weeden@dover.nh.gov, but must be received no later than October 19. One week after that date, Weeden along with the School Superintendent and a school board member will select and announce the winners.
