Client List in Zumba Prostitution Case Could Be Released

Kennebunk Police Chief Bob MacKenzie has given fair warning. He says that as early as next week, names of clients associated with the prostitution business that operated out of the Zumba Studios on High Street could be released to the public. Well over 100 people, both in state and out of state, could see charges filed against them for engaging a prostitute. That news comes on the heels of indictments against Alexis S. Wright of Wells, who was operating that prostitution business and secretly filming the encounters. Wright was indicted in York County Superior Court on 106 counts, including prostitution, tax evasion and violation of privacy. Also indicted Wednesday, on 59 counts, was Mark Strong of Thomaston, who was originally charged in July with promoting prostitution.
