New Hampshire's congressional delegation is honouring outstanding members of the state's law enforcement community.
Sens. Jeanne Shaheen and Kelly Ayotte, along with Reps. Charles Bass and Frank Guinta, are leading an awards ceremony Monday evening at the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training facility in Concord.
The New Hampshire Congressional Law Enforcement Awards were started in 1998 by Bass and former Rep. John E. Sununu. All members of New Hampshire law enforcement are eligible to be nominated for recognition. Recipients are selected by an independent committee of law enforcement officers comprised of current and retired federal, state, county, and local officials.
