Dover City Councilor Michael Weedon woke up Monday in Mass General Hospital after he lost consciousness after being mugged just three blocks from South Station in Boston early Monday morning. Weedon had attended the Patriots game in Foxboro Sunday and had headed into Boston afterwards. A friend wanted to visit a bar, but Weeden decided to walk the three blocks to catch the C&J bus service back to New Hampshire. He claims it was on that walk that he was assaulted by three individuals. However a conflicting story has been reported that stated that Weeden had been denied entry to that bar because he was intoxicated and that the bouncer had put Weeden in a taxi. Weedon called that second report false. Weedon told WTSN News that he is feeling much better.
