The president of the University of New Hampshire is reviewing the school's achievements and outlining its goals for the future during his annual State of the University Address.
President Mark Huddleston is set to deliver the address Thursday in the Memorial Union Building on the Durham campus.
In his speech a year ago, Huddleston emphasized that the school was working its way out of a budget crisis with agility and a will to forge ahead, saying the university remained strong despite steep budget cuts. The latest state budget cut aid to the University System of New Hampshire almost in half, prompting layoffs and a hiring and salary freeze.
