The small staff at the Homeless Center for Strafford County could see the closing of the center on the weekends, that according to Susan Ford, Executive Director of the Center. She says unless the center is able to acquire more volunteers, homeless people seeking shelter would have to look elsewhere on weekends. Ford says it appears to her that the weak economy has taken volunteers away from the center as they tend to find part time jobs. Ford says anyone that wants to donate their time to help out, should call her at 332-3065.
