An actor and martial arts instructor will be arraigned today on 2nd degree murder charges in the death of a 19-year-old Elizabeth "Lizzi" Marriott, the University of New Hampshire student who disappeared last week. Assistant Attorney James Vera made that announcement during a press conference on Saturday afternoon.
The search for Marriott was suspended on Sunday due to weather condistions and according to Senior Assistant Attorney General Jane Young the ground and water search on and around Peirce Island in Portsmouth is expected to resume today. She says waters around the island were dangerous on Sunday.
Young said twenty-nine-year-old Seth Mazzaglia and Marriott knew each other, but she wouldn't elaborate. Those who knew Mazzaglia are shocked that he has been connected to that crime.
Investigators will meet today to discuss how to handle the search for Lizzi Marriott going forward.
