A 60-year-old woman, Diane Pinkham, was hit by a car and injured Wednesday morning on her way to work. The incident occurred on Hampton Road and Pinkham had to be transported to Exeter Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Police say Pinkham had just parked her car at the Exeter Recreation complex and was in the process of crossing Hampton Road when she was hit by a car being driven by 53 year old Lizabeth Comeau of Hampton. Comeau was also transported to Exeter hospital to be checked out. Exeter and state police are now conducting an investigation.
