Port of New Hampshire officials will be holding a public session to discuss plans to move the scrap metal pile at the Portsmouth Port closer to Market Street where the road salt pile is currently located. The EPA has issued a mandate to the port to control storm water runoff after a report released last year said that the runoff is leaching mercury into the Piscatqua River.  The date and location for that meeting has yet to be set.
