Governor John Lynch will be on hand for a ribbon cutting ceremony tomorrow to mark the completion of the widening of the Spaulding Turnpike in Rochester. Lynch will be in attendance with transportation officials to mark the end of the multi-year project, which expanded both the north bound and the south bound lanes from one lane to two lanes each way. The Governor is praising the expansion, as well as current construction to widen the highway south of the Dover toll booth, which he says modernizes the Spaulding Turnpike and increases traffic flow to the Lakes Region. The event is scheduled to take place at 11 am near the Exit 15 overpass.
