Dover Approves Upgrades for McConnell Center

The McConnell Center in Dover has now been approved for $200,000 to improve the vacant rooms in the building. The city is hoping to lease many of those rooms but first must bring them up to par before they can do so. The money is being taken from the Gravel Fund, which will help to replace or install carpets, installation of additional lights, plus new coats of paint. The Dover City Council gave the go ahead last Wednesday, when they also approved the use of Willand Pond for a hockey tournament in January.
